Gray's friends encouraged her to start using social media. She has since had better success using the platform than the rest of her friends. Even her mom used the app to keep track of her. Loren's success with musical.ly is also spreading to other social media platforms. The YouTube videos she made were posted on YouTube by random individuals that reacted. Gray became a cult figure and not everyone of her peers were impressed. Instead of supporting her new venture, they turned on her.
