Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st, 1974 in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada, is a Canadian actress most well-known for her role as Bo in The Showcase series Lost Girl. Silk was created in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk's parents are Peter who was an academic, and Peter Silk who was known as an accomplished actor as well as a producer, director, playwright, educator and director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is able to recall her earliest memories of life, including attending rehearsals and watching of shows. Silk appeared as a little girl in commercials. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Arts in 1997 from St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas staged at least two early plays: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk moved from Toronto in November 1999, to Los Angeles California to pursue her acting career. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007, when they met during an Actors' Workshop at the Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. Following their engagement in 2008, they got married in 2009. The couple renewed their vows the 10th of April in Fredericton at an Jewish wedding ceremony, after Silk made the decision to convert to Judaism. Silk had the son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron, her second baby was born on May 13, in 2016. Silk was also nominated in 2009 for the Gemini Awards in her role in the role of Cassidy Holland. In 2009, she was cast in the main character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television show Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant while filming the final episode of the third series. The actress announced her pregnancy to fans during the Showcase Season Three pre-show special on the 6th of January, 2013. On June 4, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the beginning of production for the fourth season. Then on June 20, 2013 Silk posted on Twitter that she was ready to the set of the show. CNN Cable News Network named Bo together with Lauren Zoie Palmer as the same-sex couple in Lost Girl to be one of the top television Couples of all time. E! Magazine declared them Top Television Couples of 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk's popularity has resulted in an enormous online following on social media.
